# Transkripsie

> Transkripsie is a transcription platform for 60+ languages, built for Afrikaans. Accounts are closed. An automated client may submit an email to be notified. That does not create an account. Paid use still requires payment when checkout opens.

## Request access

- [Request access](https://transkripsie.com/api/access/request): GET returns the instructions as JSON. POST JSON {"email":"name@example.com"} or form field email. Acknowledgement does not reveal whether the email already exists. Registration stays closed (`POST /api/auth/signup` is 403). Do not call company signup to bypass the waitlist.

## API for account holders

- [API documentation](https://transkripsie.com/docs/api): A human who already has an account mints a bearer key `tkp_live_...`. The key may upload audio and read that person's recordings, transcripts, exports, meetings, and media, within the scopes they ticked, and may register HTTPS webhooks with scope manage:webhooks. It may not open an account, mint keys, send the meeting bot, delete data, or chat about a recording. Upload requires recording_rights_acknowledged=true and recording_rights_acknowledgement_version=2026-09-22. Optional Idempotency-Key header. Keys are for scripts and coding agents. Remote MCP connector: https://transkripsie.com/api/mcp. Put the key in the connector secret header, not in the chat.
